Temperature + Optic
The ability to reduce energy waste begins with the ability to see it.
A network of intelligent sensors monitors temperature variations and precisely detects smoke and vapor generated by cooking activities. Installed in front of hood filters in pairs — one emitter and one receiver — the IRIS BLEU® optical sensors monitor what is happening in the exhaust airstream. This combination allows ECOAZUR® to understand cooking activity beneath the hood in real time and to adapt the ventilation to the kitchen’s actual needs.
Thanks to this precise detection, ECOAZUR® can reduce airflow by up to 70% when cooking activity decreases, then respond quickly as demand increases — maximizing energy savings without compromising ventilation performance.

ECOAZUR® manages kitchen ventilation automatically, while giving kitchen staff immediate access to essential controls. From its streamlined keypad, users can select AUTO, 100% or IDLE ventilation modes, control hood lighting, reset cooking appliances and view current ventilation airflow.
For greater visibility and control, the optional 10.1" capacitive HMI touchscreen provides an intuitive, real-time interface to the ECOAZUR® system. Optional integrated 4G connectivity simplifies connection to the Intellinox Cloud platform.
Motorized Modulating Dampers
The right amount of air, right where you need it.
When multiple hoods share a common exhaust system, modulating dampers become essential to energy efficiency. They allow ECOAZUR® to individually adjust the airflow for each zone based on cooking activity, rather than ventilating the entire system according to the zone with the highest demand.
By coordinating damper modulation with exhaust fan speed, ECOAZUR® reduces overventilation and energy waste while maintaining the required airflow where it is needed.
Available in rectangular or round configurations, our modulating dampers are listed (UL 710 & UL 1978) for installation in the hood exhaust collar or directly in the duct. Their fail-safe design automatically returns the dampers to the fully open position in the event of a fire, power loss, or when the VFDs are switched to bypass mode, helping ensure unrestricted exhaust when it matters most. Their patented retractable design facilitates safe installation in existing systems without requiring duct cutting, welding or pre-cleaning — a significant advantage for retrofit projects.

Its unique patented burner air-velocity control mechanism uses a simple, robust design with no motorized components — reducing potential points of failure while enabling fast response.
A unique pivoting burner simplifies maintenance, while advanced algorithms intelligently coordinate AMUTECH™ with ECOAZUR®. Connected through the Intellinox Cloud, the system also provides remote diagnostics, including visibility into the flame supervision module.
